Accompanist
Dan Moore has been the accompanist for The Choral Art Society since 2001. His other work includes playing full-time at the Mount Washington Hotel and a wide variety of freelance work in many different musical styles. Mr. Moore earned a degree from Boston Conservatory. His teachers included Russell Hayton, Philip Steinhaus, and Clarence Snider. Playing with his band, The Underachievers, is one of his favorite pastimes; sadly, they are mostly heard these days only at the Fryeburg Fair or on their CD, Please Play Responsibly. Dan lives in North Bridgton with his wife, helpmate, and enabler, Nan Beury.
