Portland Piano Trio
Aaron Engebreth, soloist
Every list of great choral music includes the Requiem setting of Gabriel Fauré – as simple as it is simply radiant, an introspective and deeply calming response to those seeking comfort in a time of loss. The Portland Piano Trio – Anastasia Antonacos, piano, Tracey Jasas-Hardel, violin, and Wayne Smith, cello – joins the ChoralArt Camerata as accompanists for the Requiem and as performers in Fauré’s “Piano Trio in D minor.” The Camerata sings as a benediction Morten Lauridsen’s radiant “Sure on This Shining Night.”
In accordance with COVID-19 protections, proof of vaccination and the wearing of masks will be required. We have reduced the number of tickets available for each performance, which will run about 70 minutes with no intermission.
