A Contemplative Holiday Tradition with ChoralArt Camerata.
For more than a decade, ChoralArt has brought the holiday season to a close with the ChoralArt Camerata, offering an intimate and reflective program that explores the quieter beauty of this special time of year.
We return once again to the peaceful setting of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Cape Elizabeth, presenting a program of a cappella motets—both early and contemporary—alongside timeless seasonal works for choir and organ. We are pleased to welcome back organist Hentus van Rooyen, whose artistry continues to elevate this cherished tradition.
Also returning to this year’s program are poet J. Barrie Shepherd, violinist Rose Underkofler, and mandolinist Chris Moore, whose contributions added rich depth and meaning to last year’s performance. Together, we’ll share a program that invites reflection, wonder, and quiet celebration.
